You simply cannot read this book and not make changes to your life to be more healthy. Dr. Colbert has the gift to explain all pillars of our health and how they are affected by what (and how much) we eat, or drink, and how exercise is key ... just to name a few. You learn something new every day, indeed! I love this book so much I also have it on CD, too. My husband and I enjoy listening to it on long trips. For me, I went through the hard copy book multiple times from beginning to end, and I have flags on pages, many underscored. I am so inspired, great information to live a healthy life. I have purchased over time, six of these books for friends. Needless to say, I highly recommend this book!

I became acquainted with Keri Wyatt Kent's writing by reading her book, Breathe. As I explored the concept of Sabbath the more I wanted to learn about how to incorporate Sabbath in my everyday life. Rest: Living in Sabbath Simplicity gives real-life examples of how to bring rest into our lives. I know that in my life I am constantly wrestling with how to cultivate contentment in my life and in the lives of those around me. I believe that rest is the foundation for our contentment. If we never take time to rest in God, we will never have the opportunity to rest at all. This book is a great read for how to incorporate a Godly Rest into your life. I can't wait for Keri's next book...each of her books has hit home with me!

Excellent book. Gave me insight into a commandment that I had never really thought about other than "doing" church on Sunday. That is what the Sabbath meant before reading this book. This book openned my eyes to what GOD have given to me and all of HIS children with the command of keeping the Sabbath holy. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking to be at a new understanding of what GOD has commanded us and what GOD has given us.
